About me

Congratulations, you have made it to my blog! My name is Viola, I am 20 years old and until last year I have lived in Speyer in the south west of Germany. I finished school in March last year and now I am volunteering,  enjoying my free time and, most important of all, doing what I love - that includes reading, Latin, music, travelling, meeting friends, languages, art, yoga, running and swimming. You will probably see some of this on my blog as it progresses; we shall see.

Speaking of travelling, I have spent a year abroad in the UK when I was 16 and now that I am free of most of my responsibilities ;) I decided to do a gap year before starting university in autumn 2018. My destination is central Europe; on October 1 I left Germany to go to Brno in the Czech republic. I'm having a great time:) When I return to Germany,  I will study Latin and history at the university of Heidelberg. In the meantime, I will try to update my blog as often as possible - I apologise in advance for being inactive sometimes, but hey, you gotta live. This is my second attempt at a blog, and I do hope you will enjoy it.
